About Us

Rockwell Dance Academy was founded in August 2013 in Acworth, Georgia by Honey Rockwell and her husband, legendary B-Boy Orko Romero.

At RDA, we honor the roots of Hip Hop by teaching foundational styles like Breaking, Popping, and Locking—while also embracing the evolution of the culture. In addition to our core programs, we offer a wide variety of dance styles to support well-rounded, confident dancers at every level.

What truly sets Rockwell apart is our leadership. Our founders are pioneer artists who helped shape Breaking as we know it and are now dedicated to passing that knowledge, discipline, and passion on to the next generation.

Beyond the classroom, Rockwell provides real-world dance experiences through organized dance battles, performance opportunities, and competitive pathways. We also offer student-teacher programs, professional teacher certifications, and mentorship for dancers interested in leadership, coaching, and career development within Hip Hop culture.

Through classes, performances, workshops, master classes, and community events, Rockwell Dance Academy proudly contributes to the culture locally and globally—educating, inspiring, and empowering youth through Hip Hop.
